Lake Activities

The Township has 10 major lakes and several other smaller lakes and streams. The DNR provides excellent access sites to Big Twin, Starvation, Indian and Big Blue lakes. A Township owned access site is available for North Blue Lake and several primitive access sites on State Land are available for Bass, Eagle, South Crooked and Papoose lakes.

The water levels in Big Twin and Starvation Lakes is high this year and may cause some problems for our home owners due to wave action from certain water sports.  Please be cognizant of this issue while enjoying your water sport activities. Have a wonderful, fun filled summer!
